Actress Anna Gunn is best recognized for her character Skylar from the popular TV show Breaking Bad, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award. Another character of hers that audiences might know is Martha Bullock from the 2019 TV film, Deadwood. Unfortunately, Gunn was diagnosed with a condition that required her to take cortisone as treatment. One of the side effects of cortisone, a drug used to fight inflammation of the body, is weight gain. To combat this, the actress took up Pilates and followed a healthy diet, managing to lose 40 pounds or so. Anna Gunn is the mother of two daughters, born to her ex-husband, actor Alastair Duncan.
