10. Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger

Imagine if Marilyn Monroe and the joker from batman were a couple. That sounds like the start to a really bad joke, but two actors who played these characters on screen, Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger, used to be a couple in real life, and are the parents to 12 year-old Matilda who was born in 2005.

They later split in 2007, before Ledger’s tragic passing in 2008. Throughout everything Williams has tried to keep her private life a secret and her daughter sheltered from the cameras. She has spoken about her struggles to keep it that way, telling The New York Post she moved from Brooklyn to the countryside because “it was an intolerable state of existence.”

Things have since gotten a little better, she says, calling actress Kristen Bell her “personal hero”, and thanking her for “lobbying websites and magazines to no longer publish photos of children.”
