7. Gina Lollobrigida – Born in 1927
When Gina Lollobrigida was born in a small Italian town in the ‘20s, no one could have imagined just how much of an impact she would go on to have on the world. She rose in fame as an international feminine symbol throughout the ‘50s and ‘60s, not just as an actress, but also as a sculptress and journalist. In the ‘70s, she even managed to get an interview with the notorious Fidel Castro!
Gina’s had her fair share of scandals, including when she was engaged to a Spanish businessman who was much younger than her. In 2003, she sold off her jewelry collection and donated part of the profits to stem-cell research. Gina Lollobrigida may be nearing the age of 100, but she is still beautiful nonetheless – although no secrets have been confessed yet!
