Beverly Johnson – Born in 1952

Beverly Johnson was pursuing a degree in criminal justice at Northeastern University with the intention of becoming a lawyer when her career in modeling got started. She ended up making as big – if not bigger – impact on the world by switching gears. She was a trailblazer in the modeling industry, becoming the first African-American woman to appear on the covers of Vogue magazine and the French edition of Elle.

She went on to star in the TV show Beverly’s Full House in 2012. In 2014, she wrote an article on Vanity Fair accusing comedian Bill Cosby of drugging her during a 1986 audition. She was not the first to allege such incidents relating to Cosby but it wasn’t until several years later that he faced the law.

Beverly Johnson has aged beautifully. Her trick is rubbing fish oil on her face to make her skin glow. Considering that an entire bottle of fish oil capsules costs as little as $10, it’s something all of us can try!
