Musician Yvette Marie Stevens is better known by her stage name Chaka Khan or by the nickname given to her by her fans: “Queen of Funk”. Having gotten her start as a part of the funk band Rufus, she later branched off to have a very successful solo career. Spanning over the course of 50 years, her work would earn her several awards and accolades, including ten Grammys in total. Her records have been bought over 70 million times all over the world!
