Lola Falana-Born in 1942

Lola Falana was the ultimate triple-threat back in the day – model, actress, and singer. She was discovered by Sammy Davis Jr. and was offered a role in his 1964 musical, Golden Boy. Reportedly, the two even had an affair although Falana was married to May-Britt at the time. Having gotten her career started in such a spectacular way, the actress would go on to become a massive star of Italian cinema. She even became fluent in the language after starring in three movies.

Lola was given the nickname “Black Venus”. Later, long after her collaboration with Davis ended, she would also be called “Queen of Las Vegas”. Today, at 77 years old, Falana has retired from acting. She dedicates her life to her faith and lives a quiet life. Even at this age, her face seems to be wrinkle-free – although she hasn’t spoken much about what she does to keep it that way.
