Salt Removes Red Wine Stains

Salt is a great stain-remover because it absorbs water very quickly. If you spill red wine on the carpet, just sprinkle a good amount of salt on it while it’s still wet and vacuum it after 10-15 minutes. Unlike most other stain-remover solutions, salt actually gets rid of it completely.

If you spill something on your clothes, sprinkle the salt on the stain and leave it for a minimum of 3 minutes. Then simply rinse with cold water and repeat the process a couple more times if the stain doesn’t disappear the first time. After that, you can wash your clothes as usual.
