Remove Lipstick Stains From Glassware

Lipstick stains are notoriously tough to remove from glassware because they contain emollients that are designed to stay on your lips. Running them through the dishwasher doesn’t make much of a difference either!

Salt is your friend here. Your best bet is to get rid of the stain before you put the glassware in the dishwasher. Rub some salt on the stain and wipe it off with a damp washcloth. If that doesn’t work, you can try some rubbing alcohol. Once the stain is gone, pop it in the dishwasher as usual.
