Clear Out Your Drains

Salt has its own antiseptic properties, but it also works amazingly to boost the antibacterial properties of other substances, like vinegar. Combining the powers of these make a formidable cleaning agent that can do a fantastic job on your sink or bathroom drain. Just mix equal parts of salt and vinegar and pour it down the drain. Let it sit for 15-30 minutes and pour some boiling water. Alternatively, you can also put some dry salt down the drain and pour boiling water over it.
