Brush Off Mineral Deposits from Fish Tanks
Fish tanks often collect residue from mineral deposits which can be difficult to clean, but salt is a great way to get rid of these. You’ll need to create a vinegar and salt cleaning paste similar to the brass solution and rub this all over the fish tank with soft scrubbing pads. Make sure to rinse the tank thoroughly before bringing the fish back in, especially if it is a freshwater tank. Even if it is a saltwater tank, you’ll want to make sure the smell of vinegar is gone completely.
