Rid Your Tools of Rust with Lemon and Salt

Rust can affect anything from razors to lawnmowers and it is quite difficult to get rid of as well. One way to clean rust is to scrub it away with a mixture of salt and lemon juice. To make this solution, combine 2 tablespoons of lemon juice into 6 tablespoons of salt. Apply this to the rusted area and rub in a circular motion. Rinse the area thoroughly once you’re done.

Alternatively, you could also rub salt over the rusted area and squeeze lemon juice over it. Leave this to rest for 2-3 hours before scrubbing with steel wool or a scourer.
