3. Go Makeup Free At The Gym
It’s unfortunate that society has instilled in women – from a very early age – that they need to look their “best” before stepping out of the house. And unfortunately, by looking “your best” they mean slathering on makeup to cover up even the tiniest of imperfections.
But, whatever you do, one place that you should never wear makeup to is the gym. Sweating is the body’s natural mechanism to keep it from overheating – and something you’ll be doing plenty of while working out. When you have layers of makeup on, it can hinder the production of sweat, causing it to get clogged up in your pores. This can then lead to breakouts, acne, and rashes. What’s worse is that such a breakout will encourage you to wear even more makeup and that just perpetuates an unending cycle of problematic skin.
