In 1944, Tony Bennett was shifted and trained at Fort Robinson and Fort Dix. And become an infantry rifle. He soon shifted to Europe and in March 1945, entered the frontline. By that time, the Allies had crossed the threshold of Germany and were fighting against the enemy. He rose fast to the corporal rank, because of his active service in critical urban fights.
Carried to specific duties, he ended the war touring Europe. He studied music at the University of Heidelberg before returning to the United States. In 1963, his best track, “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” was recorded.
