Comedic character actor Rob Riggle was born in Louisville and attended the University of Kansas. Before he became known for his roles on the Daily Show, SNL, The Hangover, Let’s Be Cops, 21 Jump Street, Step Brothers, and other big box office and TV hits, he was an officer in the Marines.

He got his pilot license and flirted with the idea of becoming a Naval Aviator before releasing he had a talent for comedy that he didn’t want to pass up. Still, while with the Marines, he served in Albania, Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Liberia, receiving several medals for his service.
