Rapper, actor and producer Ice-T is known for his hard-hitting lyrics, which he popularized as an underground rapper in New Jersey. He was signed to Sire Records, and his album was the second album to carry the famed “Parental Advisory” sticker. He founded his own label, and his second album went platinum.
