After winning Miss Israel in 2004, actress Gal Gadot enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces, which is required of Israeli citizens. She spent two years as a fitness/combat readiness instructor. Gadot would later leave the IDF and begin studying international relations and law at IDC Herzliya.

During her time in college, she would work as an actress and model. Her most famous role would come when she was cast as Wonder Woman, appearing in the eponymous movie and in the spinoff, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The new Wonder Woman film is expected to release sometime in 2020.
