Actor and rapper Fred Durst enlisted in the US Navy after graduating high school. He didn’t have a long naval career, as he was discharged two years later age twenty. After being discharged, Durst formed the band Limp Bizkit. He formed the band in 1994, and he released six albums with them.

After the band dissolved, Durst began appearing in film. He is a director, working behind the scenes on indie films. The North Carolina native’s most recent film was The Fanatic, which was released in 2019. The thriller/horror film starred actor John Travolta as an obsessive stalker.
