Processed food is full of salt, which not only cause high blood pressure, but also wreaks havoc on skin by causing bloating, water retention, drooping, etc. Refined food like white sugar and all purpose flour are also full of empty calories. They have been processed to such an extent that they do not have any health properties whatsoever. Furthermore, sugar has been known to cause acne and breakouts while many people are allergic to gluten (without even knowing it). The only purpose they serve is to taste good, which is also something you can achieve through healthy foods that do benefit you.
